BOARD OF SELECTMEN'S MEETING
MONDAY, DECEMBER 22, 2008
4:00 PM
LITTLETON TOWN OFFICE CONFERENCE ROOM


Present: Chairman Eddy Moore, Vice Chairman Bill Latulip, Selectman Ed Boynton, Town Manager Chuck Connell, Executive Secretary Ceil Stubbings

Others Present: Steve Kelley, Perry Goodell, Vi and Ray Hopkins, Val Poulsen, Dick Merrow, Jim McKinley, Tom Loughlin, Don Merrill.

Chairman Moore called the meeting to order at 4:00 PM.

Chairman Moore advised the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the receipt and allocation of funds received from the
Fifteen-Miles Fall Settlement. Chairman Moore stated the funds had been discussed at the previous Board Meeting where it was suggested the allocation be discussed at the next budget committee meeting. The subject was not addressed at the budget committee meeting. The Board is in agreement that it would be in the best interest to the Town to put the funds into the Opera House for the additional insulation in the attic and the completing of the second bathroom.

After a brief discussion regarding the allocation and the progress of the renovations at the Opera House, Vice Chairman Bill Latulip made the motion to allocate the $33,523.00 of unanticipated funds to the Opera House for the purpose to complete the second bathroom and install additional insulation into the roof. Selectman Ed Boynton seconded the motion. The motion passed 3-0.

Vice Chairman Bill Latulip made the motion to adjourn the meeting. Selectman Ed Boynton seconded the motion. Motion to adjourn passed 3-0.

Meeting adjourned at 4:21 PM
