Present: Lt. Bill Brusseau, Karen Noyes, Jeanne Dickerman, Captain Chris Tyler, Brian Patnoe, Jessie Hampson, Chief Paul Smith and Amy Hatfield
Absent: Aldis Wright Jr.
We reviewed and accepted the minutes from the last meeting on 2/18/15. The minutes have been read and approved with the following changes regarding the AED’s. The VIPS and The Drug Forfeiture did not buy the AED for the Police Department. We have monies in the general building fund once approval is given by the Select board we could buy 2 AED for the Police department and one for the transfer station and the library. The Opera House needs an AED, the chamber should look into purchasing one. In 2016 the AED’s should be implemented in each cruiser.
The DOL inspection has been closed. The building is not being built for the recreation department this year and this summer the old green building will be closed. The recreation department will be using the old middle school gym (academy) for the summer program. The children will have lunch at the high school. The recreation department are also working out the details for the drop off and pick up.
The town manager has requested a mandatory class on harassment and bullying for April 7, 2015. The class will be 2 hours long.
Personnel policy needs to be updated. The wording for the work place bullying needs to be changed. The gun issue needs to be addressed. Alarms for the administrative office and a lock for administrative door needs to be discussed.
