Minutes
March 9, 2015
In attendance: Tom Alt, Dorothy Corey, Marcie Hornick, Barb Perlowski, Bill Nichols, Mary Boulanger, Val Poulsen. Absent: Hank Peterson.

Meeting began at 7:05 p.m.

I. Review and Acceptance of February minutes.

II. Financial. No changes this month, no expenditures. The 2015 budget will be unchanged from last year. We will spend $1,500.00 for the Dells dam license.

III. Permits and Correspondences. We received a ”Wetlands minimal impact forestry notification” from NHDES for work being done by Timberwolf logging. Also from DES, a “Shoreland Impact permit” for Arthur Arnold on Riverside Dr. There is a wetlands application with mapping from Tender Corp for their new building. We received information regarding the “Saving Special Places” workshop coming up in April. Anyone wishing to go may register on line.

IV. Management Responsibilities. The Dells: Barb and Walter went, no problems seen. Lots of snowmobiles riding through. Kilburn Crag: Dorothy went up, there are a couple of trees that need to be taken down that are leaning across the path. Pine Hill: Bill reports that there are many people snow shoeing the trails, especially students from the schools.

V. New Business. Dave Govatsky has agreed to record a talk about local wildlife and this will be broadcast on Channel 2. Mary will ask him if he might like to speak on the same subject at the Rocks estate for those who do not have cable TV. This is a continuation of Mary’s “Taking Action for Wildlife” project.

Meeting adjourned at 7:50 p.m. Next meeting is Monday, April 13, 2015
