Minutes
Monday, February 9, 2015

In attendance: Tom Alt, Bill Nichols, Hank Peterson, Val Poulsen, Mary Boulanger, Barb Perlowski and Dorothy Corey. Absent: Marcie Hornick.

Meeting began 7:07 p.m.

I. Review and acceptance of January minutes

II. Financial. Nothing new to report this month, there have been no changes.

III. Permits and Correspondences. The commission received no permits this month.

IV. Management Responsibilities. The Dells: Being well used by snow mobiles. Pine Hill and Kilburn Crag have seen many people snow shoeing this month, no problems are reported.

V. Old Business. Hank called the school counselor to discuss the campership program. The warrant article pertaining to fishing at the Dells will be voted on in March as well as the recommendation to raise the Dells dam. Tom and Mary’s places on the LCC are up for renewal in March.

VI. New Business. Mary reports that 90 people filled out the “Taking action for wildlife” map with many interesting animals being seen. The map will be found in the town offices for anyone who wants to see it or contribute to it. David Govatsky will be presenting a program on wildlife and bird habitats in our area. This will be seen on channel 2. Mary will put an ad in the local paper advertising his presentation.
