PRESENT: Vice Chair Linda MacNeil, Val Poulsen, Milton Bratz, and Mary Menzies

EXCUSED: Chairman Charlie Ryan

ABSENT: Bruce Ralston, Tony J. Ilacqua, Jim Daly, and Colin Trahan

Vice Chair MacNeil called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM. The four board members present make up a quorum.

SECOND PUBLIC HEARING:

The board discussed the reason for a second public hearing on the petition warrant article. On January 5, 2016, a typo was noticed in the original wording. A correction was made and the second public hearing was scheduled.

“To see if the Town will vote to change the zoning classification of Map/Lot 44-32, a 12.1 acre parcel and Map/Lot 44-33, a 4.3 acre parcel presently owned by Kimberly Rene Howard 1998 Revocable Trust, situated on the west side of Old Waterford Road and currently in the Residential-II, Rural, and Commercial-III zones, so that these two (2) parcels shall be in the Commercial-I zone.”

Ron Bolt submitted a letter from Jan & Mary Edick regarding the petition warrant article. Vice Chair MacNeil accepted the letter, but it was not read during the meeting. Each board member will receive a copy.

Michael Nockey asked a question regarding the reason behind the petition warrant article. Milton Bratz explained that anyone can discuss their concerns during the deliberative session on February 3, 2016.

At the January 5, 2015 meeting, board members showed their support of the petition warrant article. The support was repeated tonight.

The board decided to discuss changes to the subdivision regulations on February 16, 2016.

At 6:48, Val Poulsen made a motion to adjourn. Mary Menzies second the motion. The motion passed by all.
