WINTER DRIVING ALERT!!
PLEASE USE CAUTION WHEN DRIVING ON THE BACK ROADS OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. THE ROADS HAVE BEEN SANDED AND SALT HAS BEEN APPLIED, BUT DUE TO THE VERY COLD TEMPS THE ROADS ARE STILL VERY ICEY UNDER THE SAND AND SALT. THE PROJECTED TEMPS FOR TODAY AND THROUGH SUNDAY, JANUARY 22ND WILL STILL BE WELL BELOW FREEZING. THE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT IS DOING EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO MAKE THE BACK ROADS PASSABLE BUT THEY HIGHLY RECOMMEND PEOPLE DRIVE CAREFULLY.
