The inhabitants of the Town of Littleton in the County of Grafton in the state of New Hampshire qualified to vote in Town affairs are hereby notified that the Special Town Meeting will be held as follows:

First Session of Special Town Meeting (Deliberative Session)
Date:  Friday, December 10, 2021
Time:  12:00 Noon
Location:  Community Center – Heald Room

Second Session of Special Town Meeting (Official Ballot Voting)
Date:  Friday, January 7, 2022
Time:  8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Location:  Littleton Public Works Department
Details:  28 Boynton Lane, Littleton NH

Article SP1           Property Purchase - Murro Trust

To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $120,000 to complete the purchase of the riverfront property owned by the Murro Trust, with this appropriation to be funded by transfer from the Undesignated Fund Balance as of December 31, 2020.  This purchase was approved by the voters at the 2020 Annual Town Meeting.  The balance of the purchase price will come from:  $175,000 approved at that 2020 Town Meeting and $155,000 in private donations already collected and held for this purpose.  The proceeds being raised by this article will later be reimbursed to the Town after the closing is completed, from a “reimbursement grant”, already awarded to the Town. This special article is a special warrant article per RSA 32:3 VI (d) and RSA 32:7 V. Board of Selectmen recommend this appropriation 3-0
