Littleton Fire Rescue offers CPR and First Aid training in partnership with North Country Healthcare's (Littleton Regional Hospital). We offer CPR and First Aid classes, as well as custom classes for BLS/Health Care Providers. Community classes are offered at the Littleton Fire Station on West Main Street. We also come to you! You may request a class for your organization, group or business* by e-mailing us at education@littletonfirerescue.org. There is no additional charge for us to come to you within a 30 mile radius of our station; beyond that, we may request a travel fee.

The classes we offer include:

Family & Friends® CPR

This class is perfect for people who want to learn CPR, but do not need an "official" AHA card. We typically offer this class FREE several times a year, with a limit of 10 students per class. Write education@littletonfirerescue.org for details on class timing or to get on a waiting list.

Heartsaver® CPR AED

This course is for the lay rescuer, and covers CPR for adults, children, and infants. You will practice on high quality manikins and with a training AED. Choking emergencies are also covered. Card good for 2 years; class costs $45. Checks should be made payable to the Town of Littleton and must be received prior to the class day. For questions, e-mail education@littletonfirerescue.org.

Heartsaver® CPR AED BLENDED LEARNING OPTION

This is the same course as above, but you complete the "cognitive" portion on-line at your own pace (see here). You then print a certificate demonstrating completion, and schedule an in-person skills practice & verification session. The on-line portion is currently $15 from AHA, and the in-person skills session is $20, for a total cost of $35. Checks for the skills session should be made payable to the Town of Littleton. Please contact education@littletonfirerescue.org to make an appointment for skills.

Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED BLENDED LEARNING OPTION

For the layperson who wants training in both First Aid AND CPR, this option may be your best value. Students complete an on-line course from AHA available here (cost is currently $30), and then schedule a skills verification session ($25) with us. Once you have completed BOTH portions, you will receive an AHA Card, good for 2 years. Contact education@littletonfirerescue.org for more info or to make an appointment for skills.

*If you are a business in need of workplace training, note that we also offer combined First Aid/CPR and Bloodborne Pathogen training. Contact us for more information at education@littletonfirerescue.org.
