Public Hearing Acceptance of Unanticipated Funds for the Wastewater Treatment Plant

PUBLIC HEARING regarding UNANTICIPATED FUNDS

The Selectmen will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 5:00 PM, as prescribed by RSA 31:95-b, Section III, and RSA 91A: 2 to discuss the acceptance and expenditure of unanticipated money from the State, Federal or other governmental unit or private sources by the Selectmen. 

For the purpose of accepting funds from the State of New Hampshire for the Littleton Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) as follows:

Department of Environmental Services ARPA Grant Agreement in the amount of $100,000 for Littleton’s WWTF Planning project (Project CW-334129-01) as approved by the Governor & Council on December 21, 2022, as Item No. 84.

Department of Environmental Services ARPA Grant Agreement in the amount of $579,000 for Littleton’s WWTF Upgrade project (Project CS-334129-08) as approved by the Governor & Council on December 21, 2022, as Item No. 100.

Water Pollution Control Revolving Loan Fund Program through an Original Loan Agreement in the amount of $1,351,000 with an interest rate of 2.5360% and a term of 20 years with a provision for principal forgiveness not to exceed $295,100 for Littleton’s WWTF Upgrade project (Project CS-334129-08) as approved by the Governor & Council on December 21, 2022, as Item No. 100.

This hearing is being conducted in accordance with NH RSA 31:95-b, Section III
